Description: The invention relates to a connection head according to the preamble of claim 1 and a valve node according to the preamble of claim 10.
International flows of goods are also more important than ever for sensitive goods, such as the food sector. The flow of goods across great distances, often from one continent to another, is of great interest.
In the food sector, for example, it is of commercial interest to process fruits harvested in South America there into a liquid food raw material or food product. After being extracted, this raw material or product is brought to Europe by sea and processed there into the final food product. Other transport routes from continent to continent are also being developed, for example between Asia and Europe and South America and Asia.
However, this is only possible if hygienic, preferably aseptic, conditions are present on the complete transport route. The provision of these conditions represents a major technical challenge.
[0005] The transport of liquid intermediate products takes place in a so-called tank container. This is a frame construction manufactured according to standardization, which contains a tank or a container. This is equipped with a valve device for filling and emptying.
A very advantageous valve device of a tank container is proposed in CH 706952 A2. This valve device comprises means with which a germ barrier can be formed within the valve device. The germ barrier is formed, for example, at the end of filling in South America and only removed again when the container is emptied in Europe. Thanks to this germ barrier, complete transport including shipping is possible under aseptic conditions.
It is now important to prevent germ entry into the product when connecting the valve device of the tank container with the counterpart in the filling or removal station.
On a smaller scale, a solution, for example of beer kegs, is known to which a treatment head is connected for filling or emptying. DE 10 2014 106 203 A1 shows an example of such a treatment head.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a connection head and a valve node with which the filling or emptying of a container is made possible under improved hygienic conditions.
[0010] This object is achieved by a connection head with the features of the first claim and a valve node with the features of the tenth claim. The dependent claims indicate advantageous developments.
The connection head has a first valve for shutting off a product connection from an interior of the connection head. A second valve on the connection head ensures that a drain can be shut off from the interior. A cleaning device is provided, which is designed and arranged for cleaning the interior and a container connection. The cleaning can advantageously include the sterilization of the interior of the connection head, for example by a suitable choice of a fluid which is introduced with the aid of the cleaning device. Such a fluid can be hot water vapor, for example. The fact that the product connection and drain can be shut off, together with a cleaning device, results in very hygienic to aseptic conditions in the interior and on the container connection of the connection head. This makes it possible to reduce the amount of germs to a considerable extent when filling or emptying a container.
[0012] In a first development, the cleaning device comprises a jet cleaner. Detergent that hits a surface in a jet has an additional mechanical component that deepens the cleaning effect. This allows faster cleaning times and the use of less aggressive cleaning agents.
By shaping at least one jet outlet of the jet cleaner in such a way that a jet of the cleaning agent emerges from the connection head through the container connection, the valve device connected to the connection head during cleaning is included in the advantageous jet cleaning and thus deepens the cleaning effect.
[0014] In another development, the jet cleaner comprises a spray ball, which further improves the cleaning effect due to its symmetry. The hygienic conditions in the connection head are additionally improved in that the cleaning device can be locked against the interior. This significantly reduces pollution.
Very good cleaning effects are additionally achieved if the cleaning device can be brought into a cleaning position within the interior and into a rest position, in which it is separated from the interior. As a result, it is deep inside when cleaning, so that it is cleaned well and does not hinder the product flow when filling and emptying.
An arrangement of the cleaning device on one side of the interior, which is opposite a discharge opening emanating from the interior, enables alignment of the connection head to the force of gravity in such a way that the cleaning is improved by a secure drainage of the cleaning agents from the interior and the connection head.
CH 713 940 A2 Another development provides for the parts of the first valve facing the interior to be cleaned by a suitably designed and arranged cleaning device. Cleaning is deepened by thoroughly cleaning the first valve that is in the product path.
Yet another further development proposes a first valve, which is easy to clean due to its design and thus forms a hygienic shut-off device.
A valve node with a connection head as described above forms a flexible means to establish a connection between a tank container and a process plant under very hygienic and aseptic conditions.
Using an exemplary embodiment and its developments, the invention will be explained in more detail and the presentation of the effects and advantages will be deepened. Show it:
1: Schematic representation of a valve node with a connection head and a tank container connected to it;
Fig. 2: Perspective view of the connection head;
3: Section through the connection head in one plane with a cleaning device, a container connection and a first valve;
Fig. 4: Section through the connection head in one plane with the cleaning device and a second valve.
1 shows a schematic representation of an arrangement with a valve node 1. The valve node 1 is connected to a process plant 2. The process plant 2 can be a plant for producing a preliminary product or an end product. Alternatively, it can be a system for reloading or finishing a preliminary product. The process plant 2 has a product piping 3 suitable for the process, which feeds the product to the necessary processing points. The process plant 2 also has a cleaning device 4, which enables the provision and distribution of cleaning agents within the process plant 2. The valve node 1 is connected to the product piping 3 and the cleaning device 4, for example with the aid of a releasable product coupling 5 and a detachable cleaning coupling 6. The valve node 1 serves as an interface between the process system 2 and a tank container 7.
The tank container 7 comprises a frame 8, in which a container 9, the tank, is attached. The frame is standardized, preferably according to standards in the transport business, and thus enables technically and economically advantageous simple ship, train and truck transport. A valve device 10 is attached to the container 9 and is used for filling and emptying. It is advantageously designed for aseptic transport in such a way that a germ barrier is formed in it during transport. An advantageous embodiment is that according to CH 706952 A2. The container 9 can have a so-called manhole 11 which can be used for inspection, maintenance and cleaning work. Again, it is necessary to prevent the entry of germs. For this purpose, the manhole 11 can comprise a germ barrier, which is designed, for example, according to DE 10 2011 054 137 A1.
So that a connection for filling or emptying or both can be established between the valve node 1 and the valve device 10 of the container 9, the valve node 1 comprises a connection head 12.
The connection head 12 has a container connection 13 with which it is detachably connected to the valve device 10. A product connection 14 and a cleaning agent connection 15 are provided on the connection head 12 and create connectivity with the valve node 1.
A product line 16 is connected to the product connection 14 and establishes a fluid connection to a product outlet 17 provided on the valve node 1. The connections between product line 16 and product connection 14 and between product line 16 and product outlet 17 can be made detachable.
A cleaning line 18 is connected to the cleaning agent connection 15, with which a fluid connection to a cleaning agent outlet 19 provided on the valve node 1 is effected. The connections between cleaning line 18 and cleaning agent connection 15 and between cleaning line 18 and cleaning agent outlet 19 can be made detachable. For some sizes of tank container 7, it is advantageous to design the product line 16 and the cleaning line 18 in a mechanically flexible manner, as a result of which the connection head 12 can be moved with respect to the valve node 1. In large filling plants, it can be advantageous for fast process sequences to provide several connection heads 12 for the simultaneous coupling of several tank containers 7. The connection heads 12 are then advantageously firmly connected to the valve node 1.
The valve node 1 is equipped with the means necessary for its function as an interface between the process plant 2 and the tank container 7. These means comprise an inner cleaning line 20 for guiding the cleaning agent, which arrives via the cleaning coupling 6 from the process plant 2 into the valve node 1, to the cleaning agent outlet 19. The product, which reaches the valve node 1 via the product coupling 5, is also included
CH 713 940 A2 an inner product line to product outlet 17. A product valve 22 can be provided and allows the fluid flow to be interrupted, for example for maintenance work on one of the components.
The connection head 12 is shown in FIG. 2 in a perspective view. For the purposes of illustration, a coordinate cross K is specified, in which the z-axis indicates a direction of gravity which is perpendicular to a horizontal plane spanned by the x-axis and y-axis.
The core of the exemplary connection head 12 is a central housing 23, to which the further parts of the connection head 12 are attached.
A first part is the container connection 13. This comprises a tube piece 24, on which a closure sleeve 25 is rotatably arranged. The rotation can be carried out by means of a handwheel 26. The closure sleeve 25 can have an internal bayonet or a thread, with which a detachable connection with a suitable counterpart on the valve device 10 can be produced. A seal 28 is arranged on one or at least partially countersunk in an end face 27 surrounded by the closure sleeve 25 in order to seal the connection between the container connection 13 and the valve device 10.
A next part of the connection head 12 is a first valve 29. The first valve 29 is advantageously arranged on the side of the central housing 23 opposite the container connection 13. This first valve 29 is arranged in a fluid connection between the central housing 23 and the product connection 14. A first drive 30 is provided, with which a switching state of the first valve 29 can be changed. A first sensor 31 is attached to the first drive 30 and is used to monitor the function of the first drive 30. The signal from the first sensor 31 makes it possible to infer the switching status of the first valve 29.
A handle 32 is provided on the first drive 30. Handwheel 26 and handle 32 allow the connection head to be aligned, for example during transport from a storage location near the valve node 1 to the tank container 7. Furthermore, the handwheel 26 and handle 32 allow the connection head 12 to be aligned during the assembly of the connection head 12 to the valve device 10 the tank container 7.
Another part of the connection head 12 is the drain 33. A second valve 34 is arranged in the fluid connection between the drain 33 and the central housing 23. With the help of this second valve 34, the fluid connection between drain 33 and central housing can be established and separated. The switching of the second valve 34 between these two switching states can be effected with the aid of a second drive 35. A second sensor 36 is attached to the drive 35 and outputs its switching state as a sensor signal. This allows conclusions to be drawn about the switching state of the second valve 34. In order to reduce the dimensions of the connection head 12 in the direction of the z-axis and to generate only a small amount of space on the side of the central housing 23 on which the drain 33 is arranged, a drain pipe bend 37 can be installed between the central housing 23 and the second valve 34.
The drain 33 is fluidly connected to in a drain line G1, see FIG. 1, which can be flexible and is connected to an inlet G2 of the valve node 1. A collecting container G3 can advantageously be provided within the valve node 1, in which fluid is collected, which is discharged from the connection head 12 through the drain line G1. This fluid can be used cleaning fluid, for example. The fluid collected in the collecting container G3 is transferred via a disposal line G4 to a disposal device of the process plant 2.
A cleaning device 38 is arranged on the side of the central housing 23 opposite the drain 33. In this example, this is advantageously equipped with a third drive 39. The cleaning agent connection 15 of the connection head 12 is arranged on the cleaning device 38.
3 shows a section through the connection head 12 in the z-y plane.
The central housing 23 has an interior 40 on which the first valve 29 and the container connection 13 are arranged. The interior 40 establishes a fluid connection between these components. From the interior 40, a drain opening 41 opens into the drain pipe bend 37, to which the second valve 34 is connected.
To fill the tank container 7, the first valve 29 is opened and the second valve 34 is closed. In this way, a fluid connection is created between the product connection 14 and the container connection 13, via which the product can flow from the process plant 2 into the container 9 of the tank container 7. The same switching position of the valves 29 and 34 is when the container 9 is emptied.
For the product flow and its influence on the product itself and the formation of residues in the interior 40, it is advantageous to arrange the first valve 29 and the container connection 13 opposite one another on the interior 40.
In order that germ entry during filling or emptying of the container 9 is prevented, it is advantageous if the interior 40 can be cleaned after the mechanical and sealed connection between the container connection 13 and the valve device 10 has been established. For this purpose, the connection head 12 comprises the cleaning device 38.
The cleaning device 38 has an adjustable cleaner closure 42 with which the cleaning device 38 is designed to be lockable against the interior 40.
CH 713 940 A2 The cleaning device 38 is designed as an adjustable jet cleaner. Examples of such adjustable jet cleaners are given in utility models DE 20 2004 012 949 U1 and DE 20 2005 004 711 U1.
Part of the cleaning device 38 is a spray ball 43 which has at least one jet outlet 44, preferably a plurality of such jet outlets 44.
The cleaning device 38 is shown in Fig. 3 in a rest position in which it is separated from the interior 40. In this rest position, the spray ball 43 is sealed off from the interior 40 by the cleaner closure 42. The spray ball 43 and thus the cleaning device 38 can be brought from the rest position into a cleaning position A with the aid of the third drive 39. In the cleaning position, the spray ball 43 is located in the interior 40 of the central housing. The jet outlet 44 or the jet outlets 44 are arranged in the cleaning position in such a way that cleaning agent flowing in through the cleaning agent connection 15 flows into the interior 40 in the form of a jet.
A cleaning jet R1 is preferably directed onto an end face 45 of a valve plate 46 of the first valve 29, so that the parts of the first valve 29 facing the interior 40 are cleaned by the cleaning device 38. By lifting the valve plate 46, it is possible to thoroughly clean the valve seat 47 and the valve seal 48.
The container connection 13 is also captured by a cleaning jet or a plurality of cleaning jets and thus cleaned.
In addition, the cleaning jet R2 passes through the container connection 13 and reaches the valve device 10 of the tank container 7. The jet cleans this valve device 10 thoroughly due to its mechanical action of the pressurized cleaning fluid.
The number and shape of the jet outlets 44 are chosen with the objective of reliable cleaning of the surfaces of the interior 40, the container connection 13 and the valve device 10.
The cleaning device 38 is arranged on the side of the interior 40 which is opposite the drain opening 41. This easily creates a space-saving structure of the cleaning device 38, in which the drain opening 41 is arranged at the location of the interior 40 that is lowest in relation to the direction of gravity. The fluids generated during the cleaning process are thus thoroughly removed from the interior through the drain 33. 4 shows a section through the connection head 12 in the z-x plane.
This section illustrates the design of the connection head 12 with regard to the free flow of fluids during the cleaning process. The drain opening 41 is arranged in the intended orientation of the connection head 12 at the lowest point of the interior 40. Fluid passes through the drain opening 41 and enters the drain pipe bend 37, which opens into the second valve 34. This mouth can be tightly closed by the closing element 49 of the second valve 34. The closing element 49 can be displaced in a stroke movement by the second drive 35 and can be brought into a position in which there is a fluid connection between the inside of the drain pipe bend 37 and the drain 33. With this arrangement and design, the fluid flows completely out of the interior 40 before the second valve 34 is closed.
4, a control head 50 is shown, which is arranged on the third drive 39. This control head is set up to control the third drive 39 and thus to effect the displacement of the spray ball 43 between the rest position and the cleaning position A. The control head 50 can be set up to carry out further control functions, for example the control of the first and second drive 30 and 35.
The first, second and third drives 30, 35 and 39 can be designed to be operated by pressure medium, for example pneumatically. The pressure medium can be supplied via a line bundle, in which the product line 16 and the cleaning line 18 are also combined. A line for drain 33 may also be included. These and other connections and lines can be routed via the valve node 1. The control device of the valve node 1 can also take over the control of the connection head 12, for which purpose electrical connections can also be provided for the control head 50.
